Your mission
Work closely with trade credit insurance: You apply for credit limits, submit premium and overdue notifications, and collaborate closely with our trade credit insurers to minimize risks and meet contractual requirements.
Contribute to receivables management: You develop innovative approaches together with customers and sales to ensure the quick settlement of outstanding receivables. You continuously monitor open receivables, handle dunning processes, and work with lawyers and collection agencies to escalate overdue payments.
Take responsibility in risk management: You conduct credit assessments and risk analyses, supporting decision-making in risk management with your expertise.
Experience teamwork and internationality: You cooperate with international colleagues from our Customer Service and Sales teams to facilitate business and reduce risks.
Create transparency: You prepare reports and analyses on risks and receivables for management.
Your profile
Completed degree with a focus on finance or a commercial apprenticeship with relevant further training, such as qualification as a controller or certified accountant. Additional training in credit or financial analysis (e.g., CFA, CCrA, CIIA) is desirable.
Professional experience in credit risk management within an industrial or trading company, or as an underwriter at a credit insurance provider.
Alternatively, experience in accounting (receivables management) with an interest in further development in credit risk.
Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different departments and to develop innovative solutions.
Experience with ERP software (ideally SAGE 100) and solid Excel skills.
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage.
A quick grasp of complex topics, analytical thinking, and a structured and detail-oriented working style.
