Your mission

Is international logistics your world? You know Incoterms, demurrage & detention, customs and export processes, and intermodal transport concepts not only in theory but from hands-on experience. You understand complex supply chains, independently develop efficient transport solutions, and can clearly communicate logistical concepts to various stakeholders.
For our growing trading company, we are looking for a Logistics All-Rounder (m/f/d) who will manage international goods flows and contribute their expertise to develop optimal transportation solutions.
 
Your Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Organize and coordinate international shipments via ocean freight, rail, and truck.
  • Contract Negotiations: Negotiate freight and terminal agreements with shipping lines, terminal operators, and freight forwarders.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain existing partnerships with logistics providers and establish new long-term business relationships. You will also leverage your own professional network where appropriate.
  • International Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as international teams across different regions.
  • Logistics as a Service: Act as a trusted logistics partner and service provider to our global sales organization.

Your profile

  • Completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field, or several years of relevant professional experience in logistics.
  • Proven experience in managing international logistic services, particularly ocean freight.
  • Confident in working with diverse markets, business partners, and cultural environments.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and approach challenges in a structured, solution-oriented manner while simplifying complex issues.
  • Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, combined with a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage.
